Craig Golds has been Norfolk E&C's Divisional HR/ IR Manager since he joined the company in 2005. In this capacity, Craig is directly responsible for all matters pertaining to the HR function for the division's 1500+ employees; and given that the lion's share of this employee base are qualified tradespersons, his working knowledge of Industrial Relations is a key component of the role. Craig has worked in the Human Resources field since the late '80s for a number of large manufacturing, construction and FMCG companies, in both State-based and National roles. Prior to this, he worked in both Technical Education and Correctional Services for over a decade, during which period he returned to studies part time and completed further qualifications in Business Management to complement his degree in Education.
Whilst Craig's chosen career path may be a far cry from his roots as an apprentice panel beater in the car industry, it is arguably these origins, coupled with a deliberate path of self-development taking him into teaching and adult education, then on to Human Resources management, that makes Craig the ideal calibre of person to lead Norfolk E&C's HR discipline.
